Start with the first error
Open the crash report or latest log and locate the earliest dependency, loader, or mixin error that names CreativeCore or the mod that requires it.
Later messages can be side effects. Fixing the first clear requirement often removes several secondary errors.
Check Minecraft and loader versions
A CreativeCore build can be correct for one loader and wrong for another. Confirm both the game version and loader family before downloading a replacement.
Also check the loader version itself when the dependency message includes a minimum requirement.
Remove duplicate library files
Search the active mods folder for more than one CreativeCore JAR. Move backups out of the mods folder so the loader only sees the intended file.
Restart the launcher after cleaning duplicates to ensure it reads the new file set.
Test a minimal set
Temporarily keep the loader, required API library, CreativeCore, and one dependent mod. If that works, add the remaining mods in small groups.
This process helps separate a direct CreativeCore dependency issue from a conflict elsewhere in the pack.
Upgrade only with a reason
If 2.12.36 is required by a stable pack, do not upgrade just because a newer CreativeCore exists. First confirm the dependent mods accept the newer library.
Keep a restorable copy of the working instance before testing any core-library update.
